make cars more polite. Today I was cycling behind the most polite car I've ever seen - its was a blue Toyota and the guy driving stopped for every pedestrian he saw crossing the road. Sadly something tells me that this model citizen won't last 5 minutes on the mean streets of London. It was almost as if i'd entered a parallel world, where all streets were effectively zebra crossings, and cars gave way to pedestrians.
