make reality TV more dangerous... 

Reality TV is so boring these days - fame obsessed citizens / idiots / z-list celebrities competing for attention, its just too tame. So instead i'd add a bit of extra danger - citizens could vote who gets thrown to the sharks, or the BB challenges could involve tigers with big teeth and live electricity.
